Performance

Opportunities to perform are available and optional for all students

Regular performances take place at: Disneyland Paris, Royal Albert Hall, 02 London, His Majesty’s Theatre West End London, Sadler’s Wells Theatre London, NEC Birmingham and the Birmingham Hippodrome

‘Worldwide performance’ offers students the opportunity to perform in prestigious locations around the world including: Broadway Theatre New York City and in lights of Times Square, MSC Cruise Ships Mediterranean & Disneyland USA/Paris

Holding major contracts, A.V.A are able to offer students the opportunity to perform in professional productions and work with Oliver and BAFTA award winning Directors and Choreographers such as pantomime at the Birmingham Hippodrome

Our school recitals are held at theatre and event spaces

Our performers appear in productions for: Crossroads Pantomimes, Royal Caribbean, Discovery Cruises, World’s Biggest Pantomime Productions, West End Runs, National & International Tours

Workshops

Experience the fun of collaborating with current Choreographers, Dancers, Actors, Directors and Specialist Companies

Speciality workshops are designed to enable students to create, learn and be inspired by current industry professionals

Workshop examples:

  • Motionhouse Theatre Company

  • Ariel Hoops & Silks

  • Commercial with Joshua Pilmore

  • Drama workshop with Erin Kellyman (Star Wars/Marvel/Netflix/BBC)

  • Drama workshop with RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company)

  • Musical Theatre with the cast of SIX

  • The Next Step private dance workshop

 

Competition

Students are able to compete at both National and International level for Novice, Open and Championships as part of our Elite Teams.

Competition Events are a great way to win titles, acquire medals/certificates/trophies, build performance skill and of course have some amazing fun whilst making wonderful memories with friends

 

Social Events

Social events are always part of our calendar! Parties and fundraising events not only nourish friendships, but the proceeds flood straight back in to support our children and their families. Through fundraising, we are able to pay for costumes, competition entry fees, guest workshops, equipment etc.
